CMS Enterprise Portal passwords must be changed every 180 days. Follow these steps to change the password:

  • Visit the CMS Enterprise Portal at: https://portal.cms.gov/. – Click “Forgot Password?” on the right side of the home page.

  • Follow the instructions to complete the action.

  • Use these same steps to recover your user ID.

 If you are locked out of your account and do not know the answers to your security questions, contact the Exchange Operation Support Center at CMS_FEPS@cms.hhs.gov or 1-855-267-1515, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time (CT).
